Highly experienced administrator required for a 6 month major project Your new company Hays has partnered with two leading organisations on their joint venture in the NT. These large international players have sterling reputations for delivering large-scale projects efficiently and safely across the globe. Currently, we are assisting this venture by assembling a highly skilled team of local talent to contribute for the duration of the project. Commencing in May, the project will continue well into December and potentially an additional month or so. Your new role Providing administrative support to HSE advisors and managers Assisting in the management of communications between external and internal stakeholders regarding safety matters Arranging and scheduling all HSE inspections and visits Liaising with external agencies in relation to health and safety matters Communicating updates and changes regarding HSE matters with all internal staff and contractors Maintaining and updating HSE databases Maintain the configuration and operation of client-based data-systems Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, legislation, and procedures Monitor HSE systems daily and report on daily safety statistics Assess efficiency of current systems and processes for areas of improvement Create and implement improved systems and processes to maximise efficiency and accuracy What you'll need to succeed Significant experience in a senior administrative role 2 years experience in a systems administrator role highly regarded Professional level administration qualification preferred (Cert 4 or above) Previous experience in an HSE administration role highly regarded Familiarity with up-to-date HSE legislation highly desirable Excellent computer skills, ability to adapt to multiple proprietary programs as well as proficiency across all MS Office programs, especially Excel Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Demonstrated experience as an interdepartmental point of contact Ability to conduct safety audits and investigations, develop safety plans or programs, and lead safety training Ability to think critically and laterally Proven ability to work autonomously, set and adhere to timelines and deadlines and self-manage workloads What you'll get in return In return, you will have the opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a dedicated and professional team.
