Our client are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of their Building Services division, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems to ensure the efficient operation of our projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, providing invaluable experience and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the built environment. DUTIES. Conduct calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure systems meet performance requirements and regulatory standards Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designs Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for construction purposes Perform site inspections and provide support during the construction phase to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Proven experience in Building Services Design, preferably within a consulting engineering firm Proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design software Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex engineering problems Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders CULTURE.
