Who and what are we looking for? Gemlife Residential Construction division are looking for an experienced Leading Hand to add to the team and work on this Sunshine Coast residential project. An experienced Residential Carpentry Leading hand with good knowledge and vast experience in the fast-paced construction industry. This person will mainly be assisting with the back end of the builds and getting villas squared off for handovers. Light carpentry work is required most days but also the ability to be an allrounder leading hand. A team leader who leads by example and keeps a collaborative and positive team working together to achieve the desired outcomes regarding the project timelines and quality throughout, whilst ensuring that all safety requirements are met. You want to get the work done in a really good cultural environment. To be successful in this role you will have: A trade in carpentry Previous experience in a similar role Residential construction experience General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards.
