Our client is on the lookout for an ambitious and dedicated professional who is a great estimator and looking to step up and lead a collaborative estimating team. The focus here will be lots of tenders and estimating for projects ranging from $5million - $20million. The Role: As their Estimator, you will be responsible for completing tenders using Cubit software, EstimateOne and will also have higher than average Excel skills. You will be regularly communicating with all stakeholders, including clients and sub-contractors. You will be willing to mentor staff and lead by example. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wishing to take on a Leadership role. Key Responsibilities: Reporting through to the Construction Director Lead the estimating and scheduling processes. Complete tender submissions accurately and within deadline. Communicate and liaise with clients and subcontractors. Mentor junior staff. Collaborate with the team to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimise project outcomes. Analyse market trends and maintain knowledge of the latest industry developments. About You: Proven experience in estimating, preferably from within Melbourne’s commercial Construction industry. Proficient in Cubit, EstimateOne and Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple deadlines.
