Accounts Payable | Construction — The Rocks, Sydney

Then this opportunity may be right for you ATLAS Recruitment are currently looking for an Accounts Administrator to join a reputable Commercial Fit-Out firm with offices in the heart of Sydney CBD. Their team works across a broad array of disciplines including Commercial, Industrial, Residential Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work alongside and be responsible for all aspects support including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end tasks and payroll processes. This role will also include maintaining adequate filing systems and providing customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: •Oversee the systems and procedures relating to the processing and management of accounts payable systems and reporting, ensuring that these functions are operating effectively and efficiently, and that the functions are completed on a timely basis. • Manage accounts payable function including monitoring productivity, accuracy and quality in processing vendor invoices and claims. • Process EFT payments ensuring they are being made in accordance with payment terms and policies. • Manage the accounts payable systems and related processes ensuring that systems are maintained, process documentation is complete, appropriate and up-to-date. • Manage and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as required. • Ensure the complete and accurate processing of invoices and credit notes, employee reimbursements and retentions reimbursements are being made within their terms & conditions. • Ensure that creditor statements are being reconciled on a regular basis and reconciling items are cleared promptly. • Oversee procedures relating to management and maintenance of the vendor database including the processing of new vendor requests. • Act as the contact point for engagement with the Accounts Payable function across the organisation. Build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships to understand organisational needs. To succeed in this role, you will have: Previous experience in a similar role, ideally min 4 years professional services experience considered an advantage Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Strong attention to detail Excellent organisational skills Proficient across MS Office suite Proficient with Xero or other similar accounting programs Experience with Synergy project management system an advantage but not essential Relevant bookkeeping or finance qualifications What's on Offer: Structured learning, development and career management programs Employee social events Vibrant and Dynamic office environment located in CBD How to apply: For any questions relating to this role please click apply.
