The Role and Environment: Our client, a leader in the distribution of products within the pet industry, seeks the services of licensed Forklift Drivers to work at their warehouse located in Smeaton Grange. These roles are ongoing with consistent shifts available for the right candidates who have proven themselves during their casual assignments. These roles offer immediate starts on day shifts; Monday - Thursday 6:00am-2:00pm, Friday 5:00am-1:00pm (Monday to Friday), with overtime on offer when needed. Day shifts are offering $33.00/hr. All forklift operators are required to take on manual handling and pick/packing tasks. Key Responsibilities: Use of Crown joystick forklifts for predominantly high reach duties but also counter balance duties Picking and packing of pet food, healthcare and accessory items Stacking, wrapping and preparing pallets Manual Handling Reading and understanding instructions Required Experience: Have a current LF Forklift License with relevant experience (this will need to be backed up by reputable references) Willingness to perform manual handling of items approx. 15-20kg - these roles will not be entirely operating machinery Have intermediate reading and communication skills Good operational understanding of duties in the warehouse environment Proven reliability - we need team players who can 100% commit to the role (this will also need to be backed up by a reputable reference) Be safety obsessed Benefits: Working with a highly reputable brand within pet retail and healthcare 8 hour shifts available from Monday-Friday Overtime sometimes on offer Ongoing assignments for proven performers with temp to perm opportunities Located in the Campbelltown area of South West Sydney About Toll People ​​​​​​ Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
