The Role: Location: Waratah Start Date: ASAP End Date: 3 Months Pay Rate: $44.51 per hour excluding Super Hours of work: 4 days a week 9.5 hrs a day exl break 6:00-16:30 Job Details: The role safely carries out all carpentry trade activities and other duties relevant to maintaining bridges and drainage structures Key accountabilities Safely complete carpentry trade activities, including completing safety checks on all plant used, basic maintenance such as refueling and checking fluid, and maintaining records and reports to ensure the safe use of plant items. Perform a wide range of routine and complex labouring/ manual tasks, including using a variety of small plant and powered and non-powered hand tools to assist with the completion of work activities. Work is completed under limited supervision and may be done independently in a team environment. Required: Carpentry Licence/Trade Certificate – Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent. Current Construction Industry White Card. Current unrestricted NSW motor vehicle driver’s license. Willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements as directed.
