Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced teachers, with a real passion for developing a love of learning in young people, for this full-time (with the potential of part-time) temporary position commencing Term 2 2024 at the College with a possible permanent appointment. This position would also be suitable for a beginning year teacher. Essential Criteria: Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education NESA Accreditation Demonstrable success as a Stage 4 English Teacher Successful experience in improving student literacy Ability to implement high impact teaching strategies to improve literacy and learning outcomes for every student Ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning programs Skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to teaching and learning Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others Desirable Criteria: Practicing Catholic with accreditation to teach RE in the Diocese of Sydney Willingness to be involved in co-curricular events You will have attained: a tertiary qualification in Education active membership with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) with a minimum accreditation level of Conditional SCS Employee ID number or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS. Working With Children Check (WWCC) This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.
