We educate and care for children aged between six weeks to five years across five indoor learning spaces. The learning environments are designed with a focus on creating warm and welcoming spaces that help children to feel comfortable and safe while also stimulate the children's curiosity and encourage growth. We have just had an amazing complete outdoor upgrade across all three yards which allows our children to explore natural environments, big body movements and have lots of room to run and play We have a strong commitment to Reconciliation, with guidance from our local First Nation's People, we create a culture of curiosity and acceptance including renaming our learning spaces in Noongar Language and displaying artwork derived from local Western Australia Indigenous Artists. Our two Nursery learning spaces, Kooka-kooka and Dongkarak, cater for children aged six weeks to two years. Our Nursery educators have been chosen based on their knowledge as well as their kind and nurturing natures with many years of experience between them. The younger Nursery room opens onto a courtyard as well as the main yard, which allows the younger children to explore the outside environment when the weather is not favourable to complete outdoor play. Having two Nursery rooms we create smooth transitions to align with the vastly different developmental stages of children under two, it allows our smaller children who are learning to roll, sit and crawl a safe environment while our older children start to run, jump while continuing to develop their special awareness The Toddler learning space, also known as our Maali room, is a large room set up to allow our curious toddlers between two to three years to explore many different areas of play. Self-help and independence are a big focus in this age group with the guidance of our dedicated and amazing educators. The toddlers' yard is beautiful and natural with space to run and explore and as such we open the door for majority of the day to allow children agency as they choose where they would like to play. Our Kindergarten learning spaces, Djakal-Ngakal and Karak, allows for our three to five year olds to develop necessary skills in preparation for the transition to school in a fun, play-based environment. We continue to focus on self-help skills, social and emotional development with a strong focus on literacy and language. The kindergarten's yard showcases a large natural environment with an abundance of natural flora, running water accessible to the sandpit, a yarning circle, and a mud kitchen area.
