The successful candidate will join our Capital works team; based at our Paget Depot. This position is responsible for providing daily supervision, support and assistance in leading a day labour crew and subcontractors to carry out civil construction duties associated with roads and drainage assets, construction projects or maintenance activities under the remote supervision of the Supervisor Construction. Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:Certificate III in Civil ConstructionCurrent QLD Manual Car ‘C’ Class Open Driver’s Licence Current General Construction Safety ‘White’ CardCurrent Traffic Controllers TicketCurrent First Aid CertificateDetailed experience in supervising small to medium size work teamsDetailed experience in construction of roads and drainage infrastructureDemonstrated experience in the maintenance and operation of a wide range of machinery.Good skills in oral and written communicationCandidates who hold a Current MR/HR Truck Licence, Plant Operation Certificate of Competency e.g. roller, loader, backhoe, grader and or a Certificate IV in Civil Construction will be highly regarded.
