The position As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for parents, students, visitors and contractors at both our Junior and Senior campuses. The Receptionist communicates in a warm and welcoming manner and conveys a high level of competence and efficiency. Duties include, but are not limited to:Operation of the telephone switchboard and ensure all telephone enquiries are transferred to the appropriate staff memberutilising a courteous manner, the Receptionist may need to handle calls from or face to face situations with difficult parents or members of the public. The Receptionist will communicate calmly, listen to the speaker, take notes and complete the telephone calls or face to face meeting.be responsible for the staff sign in and out book;be responsible for electronic and absentee records. Contacting parents and liaising with the Heads of House regarding absent students; be responsible for the electronic signing in and out of students and issuing order marks to students when required;It will be an advantage if you can demonstrate2-3 years previous experience as a receptionist with prior experience in a school highly regardedAbility to multi-task and handle various situations and prioritise tasksA calm and courteous manner with a strong customer service focusThis position is a part-time role. Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 1.15pm preferred, but flexible. Additional hours may also be required to cover periods of leave. Working at CGGS: The detailsCGGS is committed to child safety.
