Warehouse assistant job in Bibra Lake, temporary role paying $30ph Your new company Your new company are a Global employee-owned manufacturing business with over 100 years' experience. Your new role In your new role as warehouse assistant your duties will include but not limited to: Assist with efficient operation of the warehouse. Pick, palletise and wrap stock safely for transport. Book pick-ups of goods with transport companies online. Load and unload trucks. Ensure the safe condition of equipment and its operation at all times. Ensure that all tasks e.g., charging materials, processing of batches, adjusting, completing, labelling and packing of finished products etc. are carried out in accordance with company operating procedures whilst adhering to all the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental policies and legislation. Accurate testing of all samples according to prescribed test methods and timeous reporting of any deviations to your line manager. Accurate record keeping, e.g., of test results, batch/lot numbers, stock records for future reference and traceability, ensuring that all data is actioned promptly and accurately and truly reflects reality. Assist in the effective management of the warehouse and act as backup for the supervisor in his absence. Maintain a high standard of responsible care and housekeeping consistent with company requirements. Behave in a manner in line with the company values and participate in the consultative and democratic process within the community and support the decisions of the community body. To perform any other reasonable tasks to meet business objectives. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role you will need the following: Good working knowledge of health and safety in a chemical manufacturing, laboratory or warehouse environment. FLT licence Meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to work in a computerised environment. Analytical skills. Excellent time management. Good to excellent colour vision with the ability to accurately interpret and communicate differences in colour strength and tone.
