This role is working on tarmac at Melbourne Airport across Domestic & International terminals. What is in it for you: Competitive pay rates Consistent shifts with opportunities for OT These roles will receive additional training and guidance Reduced rate onsite car parking Working airside around multi-million dollar aircrafts National client with potential future opportunities in Melbourne and abroad About your new role: Forklift duties in International Warehouse Driving freight tuggers on the tarmac to planes Loading and unloading of freight from trucks and ULD's, into and out of racking Processing inbound and outbound freight Sorting, weighing, and scanning of parcels Availability across all shifts - Afternoon, Night General warehousing duties To be successful in the role, you will need; Forklift license & experience operating counterbalance forklift Experience in receipting and receiving goods (desirable) Team player Excellent communication skills As part of your application you will be required / willing to obtain: Red ASIC (Airport Security Identification Card) which will include a background check - this will be organised for you The total cost is paid on application. This will be reimbursed to you after you commence Pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen - this will be organised for you The total cost is paid at the time of booking. This will be reimbursed after you commence Driver's license - to be able to drive various equipment onsite - i.e. Freight Tuggers to and from the warehouse to the tarmac You will be required to undergo a course to obtain a certificate to operate a freight tugger at the airport - which we can organise for you Forklift license (or willingness to obtain after commencement Mandatory pre-hire courses for completion prior to commencing - this will be organised for you To be considered for this role you must be able to provide one Proof of Right to Work Document.
