We are seeking skilled and experienced Disability Support Workers to fill multiple casual positions within a Supported Independent Living environment in Launceston. Our client enjoys being active and participating in outdoor activities including walking and fishing. Support Workers will provide assistance with daily living activities, including medication administration, and will bring a mature and calm approach in working with complex and challenging behaviour. These roles will require successful applicants to be available and willing to work within a 24/7 roster that includes regular shift work, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays. Key Responsibilities Assistance with daily living (including personal care) Community Access and Transport Maintain and Monitor Person Centred Plans Documenting and Progress Note keeping Assist individuals to engage in cultural activities and maintain cultural connection Maintain high level of integrity and regard for professional boundaries and confidentiality Skills & Experience Minimum two years experience as disability support worker Minimum Certificate III Individual Support or similar Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence Current Provide First Aid Certificate Assist with Medication Skill Set Successful candidates will be required to undertake probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and hold NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
