Legal Receptionist needed – full-time hours temporary 4-6 week contract Your new company This temporary position will be providing high level secretarial and administrative support to legal practitioners working within the Public Sector. Your new role Provide personal and telephone reception facilities of a high quality ensuring sensitive and confidential handling of enquiries, including attending to public inquiries, liaison with complainants and witnesses, the legal profession, courts and police. Undertake a wide range of clerical and administrative duties to support the efficient and effective delivery of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions services including opening files, the preparation and compilation of court and other legal documentation. Undertake word processing, transcribing of audio material, preparation of correspondence and document production duties of a highly confidential nature. Undertake data entry including the updating and maintenance of the legal practice database, and utilise the database tools for preparation of documentation. Provide support to other areas within Crown Law as required. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will be an experienced receptionist in a busy environment. A background working as a receptionist in a legal environment will be highly regarded. You will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and a proven track record of excellent customer service. You will have excellent time management skills, outstanding attention to detail, and strong organisational skills. You’ll have a high level of initiative, be able to prioritise competing demands and work well under pressure.To be successful, you will be an experienced receptionist in a busy environment.
