Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe area, including cleaning tables, countertops, and equipment. Customer facing service – taking orders and operating the point-of-sale system accurately. Informing customers about specials, new menu items, answering questions about the offering Restock inventory, monitor stock levels, and informing Head Barista to place orders for supplies as needed. Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Boardroom Services Support: Set up and arrange boardroom furniture and facilities according to client specifications, ensuring all equipment and amenities are in place and functioning correctly. Assist with the coordination of catering for boardroom meetings and events, including preparation of coffee, ordering food and beverages, setting up catering stations, and various styles of serving food and beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in boardroom areas before, during, and after meetings. Troubleshoot any technical issues with audiovisual equipment or other technology used in boardroom presentations. Provide assistance to clients and staff during boardroom meetings as required, including greeting guests and managing conference calls. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience as a barista, or customer service role, preferably in a cafe or hospitality setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues, and work collaboratively in a team. Excellent organisational abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Basic knowledge of food handling and safety regulations. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings. Technical proficiency in operating standard office equipment and familiarity with audiovisual systems preferred.
