About the Role: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing comprehensive administrative support within a legal environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with lawyers and legal assistants, contributing to the smooth operation of the firm. In this role you can expect to; Prepare legal correspondence and professional letters for lawyers and legal assistants. Organise and maintain files for court proceedings with meticulous attention to detail. File documents with courts on behalf of lawyers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures. Operate multi-line switchboard effectively, directing calls to appropriate parties. Process invoices for lawyer billing and ensure timely and accurate documentation. Research and coordinate travel arrangements for senior leadership, including airfare, accommodation, and ground transportation. What you’ll need to succeed: Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent transcription, editing, and proofreading abilities. Demonstrated experience in case management and administrative support within a legal setting. Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
