About this opportunity We’re looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Cheltenham. The role reports to the Maintenance Team Leader and is responsible for the maintenance of all electrical site equipment as well as well achieving targeted levels of availability through planned preventative, corrective and reactive electrical maintenance where required. Your key responsibilities will be to: Maintain the Electrical Safety requirements of the site Ensure Safety Lockouts are performed correctly Ensure Safety and control measures are maintained Diagnose faults Assist in the sourcing of components Assist with installation work Liaise with on-site contractors Diagnose, maintain and repair electrical and electronic equipment, networks and systems Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Licensed Electrical tradesperson Machinery risk assessment and design certificate AS4024 Ideally a seasoned industrial electrical specialist with 10 years experience within the Plastics and manufacturing industries specialising in advanced blow & injection moulding machinery maintenance and repair Technical hands-on ability in factory automation solutions with the application know-how necessary to create and maintain special purpose machinery, production control and software design through to full control system retrofits and plant wide project management
