Immediate requirement for a Senior Project Engineer to join a Teir 1 Contractor and assist in the delivery of a $300ml complex D&C project. CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long-standing client nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom across Australia. This company are a leading Main Tier Contractor who have a currently pipeline of works on the Eastern Seaboard alone in excess of over $1bn. They operate in a range of different sectors including Roads, Rail, Resources and Renewable Energies. They have just been awarded a $300ml Landmark Water infrastructure project and have identified an immediate need for a Senior Project Engineer to join the business on a full time basis. Reporting to the Project Manager you will be initially working alongside the designer, providing input into design methodologies and constructability methodologies, as well as leading client meetings. The role role will then transition out to site and will involve: • Development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of Project Management Plans • Construction planning, scheduling and progress monitoring • Design constructability and compliance reviews • Subcontract management – civil, building, structural, piping, mechanical,electrical and design contracts • Cost Forecasting and Financial Management The position offers a long term role in the Sunshine Coast and the opportunity to work on one of SE QLD most complex technical engineering projects that would be a landmark project on an Engineers resume.
