Responsibilities Understanding the maintenance, safety and operational requirements of all physical assets located at the Epping and Virginia manufacturing sites Developing relationships with key contractors to complete required maintenance and engineering activities to DuluxGroup safety, sustainability and quality requirements Leading and supporting capital engineering projects for the Epping and Virginia manufacturing sites Representing Acratex Operations in DuluxGroup Engineering Forums (and any relevant public forums) and working with other site engineering and maintenance leaders to help ensure we deliver our Business objectives Finding ways to add value through engineering and maintenance process excellence to other, similar DuluxGroup manufacturing sites Skills & Experience Bulk-handling experience- very favourable but not a necessity Experienced engineer or tradesperson with a relevant degree and/or professional qualifications. Has significant experience working in a high-pressure manufacturing environment Familiar with the principles of Continuous Improvement and will be able to demonstrate a command of basic Lean Manufacturing principles Leader and problem-solver, familiar with a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic technologies and capable of leading teams through problem-solving and improvement projects Ability to manage and interpret data from a variety of sources including SCADA or MES, MEX, and other operational systems.
