About the role We are seeking a Project Engineer - Electrical and Control Systems to join the Gudai-Darri Project Delivery team and oversee the end-to-end management of the Fixed Plant Capital Projects Portfolio ( About you: A Commitment to safety with demonstrated leadership skills Demonstrated experience as a project engineer in Electrical and Control Systems in brownfields mining Demonstrated experience in prefeasibility through to commissioning and close out of Fixed Plant Capital projects - including troubleshooting Experienced in drafting bluesheets and capital expenditure applications (CEAs) with accuracy and compliance Proficiency in writing reports, articulating project benefits and challenges, and utilising Microsoft suite and SAP, The ability to maintain positive, effective and on-going communications between key stakeholders and contract partners Experience in overseeing Contractor Management and familiarity with the Iron Ore Contractor Management System (CMS) PAn Australian "C" Class manual driver's licence If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100% we still want to hear from you. Where you will be working Our $2.6 billion Gudai-Dari iron ore project is set to be our most technologically advanced mine. In addition to technology already in use across Rio Tinto, such as autonomous trucks, trains and drills, Guddai-Dari has more than 70 design innovations in scope. When fully operational, in its first phase, Guddai-Dari will produce up to 43 million tonnes of iron ore a year, contributing to our flagship product, the Pilbara Blend. It will also become a new production hub for our iron ore business, incorporating a processing plant and infrastructure including a 166-kilometre rail line connecting the mine to our existing network.
