We're currently looking for a Site Engineer with ITS, Signals and Lighting experience to bolster our delivery team. The Project AMA (Acciona, MACA, AECOM) has been selected as the preferred bidder for the Ring Road Completion, part of the North East Link Project. This covers design and construction between the M80-Plenty Road interchange and the northern tunnel entrance at Watsonia. Works include three kilometres of new freeway, two kilometres of new freeway upgrades, construction of retaining walls and bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, and urban design and landscaping. This diverse and challenging project will be complete in 2028. Key accountabilities for the position: As an onsite project team ensure the project is delivered to overall program to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction Maintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, environmental Some exposure to maintaining planning/programming to assist Project managers with 4-6 week look ahead's Able to read/interpret design plans & drawings Participate in client/contractor meetings where required Financial assisting of cost tracking/invoicing of subcontractors on different packages of work Report upstream to project/senior project engineers but gain leadership exposure with grads/undergrads Foster collaborative and effective relationships with a range of internal/external stakeholders Required Skills and Competencies You will have a tertiary education in civil engineering, construction or something similar You will have a solid foundation of site-based experience working on a range of lighting, signals and ITS packages. An ability to understand design, problem solve, learn, adapt and continually challenge yourself Well-developed communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and clients What we offer At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
