Discipline Engineering About us: STELaRLab is Lockheed Martin's first dedicated multi-disciplinary research lab to be setup outside of the US and conducts research in artificial intelligence, signal and image processing, communication systems and multidomain operations (MDO) to deliver exciting outcomes that advance Australian capability. About you: PhD or equivalent experience in addition to mathematical or scientific tertiary qualifications. Experience working within an engineering or project environment (preferably in the defence industry). Experience in state estimation, target tracking, and data fusion algorithms such as Kalman filtering, Particle filtering, and Multiple-hypothesis tracking. Ability to produce timely and accurate written reports as required. Software development skills in Python, MATLAB, C++ or similar.
