An opportunity to work as Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer in an Employer of Choice award winning large company Our client is a Large Multinational Company dealing in supply, commissioning, servicing of fans, compressors, turbines, blowers, heat exchanger, and silencer, site management, project management including engineering for Air and Gas Handling. The major responsibilities will revolve around carrying out control, monitoring and communication system design, development and commissioning within the standards, scope, time, and budget. Other responsibilities: - Procure relevant project related equipment and services, carry out inspections and ensure compliance with specifications. Plan, coordinate and review the system design, development, and implementation phases. Maintain quality levels throughout the work. Maintain project files up-to date with relevant information including related quality control and inspection documentation. Ability to use AutoCAD Electrical for drawing update or design work. Strong understanding of Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) systems. Solid experience in designing and drafting wiring diagrams and layout of PLC program logic, SCADA, and equipment communication. Perform PLC, SCADA and communication network system FAT and SAT network Ability to define scope of electrical work/product. Ability to write functional specifications. Desirable skills Qualification in Electrical/Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering. Strong working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards including AS standards related to surface mines and Health Regulation Strong working experience in PLC programming, SCADA mimic development and commissioning Strong working experience in Modbus RTU/TCP and Ethernet IP communication networks design and configuration Turnkey project experience Strong working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards related to underground mines, NSW Coal Mines Health and SafetyCMHS) Act, CMHS Regulations and Queensland Coal Mining Safety Electrical design in Hazardous area, especially on Coal mines.
