Unique opportunity to move into a team lead role or a senior position working on IoT and medical devices A premier design company in Melbourne is on the lookout for Embedded Software Engineers to join their R&D team. As a senior engineer, you'll be working on cutting-edge medical device and IoT projects, crafting innovative solutions to challenging design issues. You'll need strong embedded C and C++ skills, as well as exposure to FreeRTOS and embedded Linux, while knowledge of various networking protocols is also highly desirable. There's 2-3 positions available for senior engineers and also scope for a team lead position as the company expands. Mid-level candidates that meet the requirements will also be considered. Key Requirements: 5-15 years’ experience in embedded software / firmware A strong command of C / C++ Familiarity with Linux, FreeRTOS, Zephyr Comfortable working with various microcontrollers (STM32 / ESP32) Exposure to some of SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth Current working rights in Australia (citizen, permanent resident, or valid working visa) This is a full-time, permanent position which requires you to be onsite in the Melbourne office.
