About the roleWe have a permanent opportunity for a Technical Advisor Engineering Support responsible for the management of our Inspection, Condition and Assessment (ICA) engineering workshop and engineering support to ICA remotely operated vehicles. You’ll be working in a team with engineers, ROV pilots and asset inspection experts. The role will be hands on in the workshop, with time in the office, the workshop and the field. We are looking for a self-motivated, well organised, individual who will take ownership of our workshop at every level. What the role will involveThe role entails management of the ICA workshop; being proactive with improvements; maintaining a safe and ergonomic environment; ensuring adherence to regulations; initiating and following up facility maintenance/repairs; and managing consumable stock levels. You’ll provide engineering support for our fleet of inspection equipment (including pipe crawlers, push rod cameras, drones and NDT tools), workshop tools/equipment/machinery and light work vehicles. Key skills and experienceYou’ll have a qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline, or considerable experience in the repair and maintenance of ROV systems. Your experience with workshop inventory management, knowledge of information systems (SAP MM, SAP PM, e-Procurement) and valid forklift, C class driver licence and construction card (blue or white) will ensure success in this role.
