About the role The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal seeks an experienced planning or legal professional to assist with the active case management of applications in the Planning and Environment Division. The role presents an opportunity to gain invaluable experience in planning and environment appeals. As a Specialist Registrar, you will: Manage applications throughout the case lifecycle and enable early resolution where possible. Correspond with Tribunal users, including to provide procedural advice and resolve escalated queries. Contribute to the development and reform of the division's processes. The position reports to Specialist Registrar and Principal Case Manager and will focus on cases in the division's review jurisdiction, including reviews of Council decisions under the Planning and Environment Act 1987. About you We are looking for an experienced planning or legal professional who has: Knowledge of the Victorian statutory planning system, the Planning and Environment Act 1987, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998, and associated regulations. Experience managing applications and appeals in the Planning and Environment Division. Relevant tertiary qualification in planning o law.
