Company description:Department of Communities and JusticeJob description: Opportunity to work within Corrective Services NSW Ongoing Full-Time, Shortland Correctional Centre Clerk Grade 1/2, Salary ($70,694- $ 76,857pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Great Team environment Your role Corrective Services NSW requires an Assistant Centre Administration Officer to join a vibrant team in the Shortland Correctional Centre. You will be responsible for providing Administrative support to a Correctional Centre, and your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Procurement, including Purchase Order creation Accounts Payable Stores and Asset Management General data entry Electronic filing and Archiving Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders Arrange daily courier services, mail pick-up/delivery, and distribution Other miscellaneous tasks as required in accordance with the capabilities of the role General Administrative team tasks including switchboard Provide support for inmate accounts Customer Service including Visits Telephone Bookings Trust Account processing What we're looking for As a highly motivated Assistant Centre Administration Officer, you will maintain confidentiality at all times, utilise your proven experience and knowledge to meet the demands of this role effectively, and provide high level assistance to the Centre Finance & Administration Manager. Resilience, high attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fast paced role. Provide effective and efficient high administration services under minimal supervision. Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, EDRMS, Pronto, Ellipse or SAP would be beneficial but not essential.
