The SAP Services Section is responsible for maintaining and improving the Department's human resource and financial management information system (an implementation of SAP version ECC6), including managing and maintaining integrations with other corporate systems, and providing support to SAP users. The section is dedicated and professional, with a customer focus mindset that works collaboratively with internal business areas to support and improve their business processes. The section has a vacancy for the Team Leader of the SAP Security and Organisational Management Team at the Executive Level 1 classification, undertaking the role of SAP Security Manager. You be responsible for SAP security administration and controls within the SAP system, as well as oversighting the organisational structure management function. As a member of small team, the role is varied, but typical duties include: Developing and maintaining SAP security roles in accordance with the SAP Assure segregation of duties matrix, the requirements of the position, and the SAP Services Change Management procedure. Assigning new positions with default access in accordance with their organisational assignment and level of delegations. Assigning additional approved access to users to carry out their job in accordance with the Security Policy and Procedures. Managing the SAP to i-Delegate interface, including liaison with the Financial Governance Team for updating of the i-Delegate system (a departmental system for recording delegations). Complying with Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) audit requirements, including carrying out periodic security access reviews and monitoring possible segregation of duties conflicts and sensitive role access on an ongoing basis. Documenting mitigating controls for segregation of duties conflicts. Liaising with the ANAO and the Department's internal auditors. Providing specialist support to clients in the area of SAP user access and security, through the SAP Helpdesk Undertaking SAP transport management activities. Performing maintenance activities relating to SAP security processes including support pack analysis and testing. Participating in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures relating to SAP security processes. Overseeing and providing backup for the organisational structure management function, which maintains the department's organisational structure in SAP in alignment with published structures and requests from responsible officers for new/changed positions and/or organisational units. The key duties of the position include To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and/or experience: Experience in SAP security administration and controls, including user administration, SAP security role development and maintenance, and management of SAP segregation of duties. Experience in participating in ANAO or internal audits, including engaging with the ANAO and internal auditors. Well-developed communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, delivering information in a variety of formats for a range of audiences, with the ability to negotiate persuasively and listen, understand and adapt to the audience. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyse information to resolve system issues and develop solutions. Demonstrated ability to achieve results and quality outcomes, by showing initiative and leadership, working in a small team delivering multiple activities at any given time, often within tight timeframes.
