ABOUT THE ROLE Based in Broome, and reporting to the Program Lead - Rural Nursing and Midwifery, this position will assume the administrative and project responsibilities for the School of Nursing and Midwifery at our northwest hub. Key responsibilities Provide high level, effective administration services to support the strategic and operational direction of the school. Carry out administrative responsibilities associated with coordinating meetings, including preparation of associated documentation and various correspondence, presentations, and reports. Undertake project work, in collaboration with the local school faculty Provide fiscal support by maintaining financial records systems, processing payments, purchase orders and invoicing ensuring that budget expenditure is monitored and reported. Provide excellent customer service to students and University stakeholders by providing quality responses to a wide range of queries, whilst liaising closely with other areas of the organisation Work accurately with detailed information; including data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, managing correspondence, collating data for reports, and under direction, prepare a range of written communication. ABOUT YOU Demonstrated administrative capability with previous experience within a university or tertiary environment, would be highly desirable. Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, engage and influence stakeholders. Excellent operational, organisational and administration skills including the ability to coordinate multiple competing priorities. High level of competency in various software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Proven record of preparing high quality documentation with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. BENEFITS Training and development opportunities.
