THE JOB This 13 month contract role is reporting to the Commercial Operations Director, this Specialist Sales Representative position (VIC WEST) plus Albury/Wodonga 2 day trip (every 8 weeks) is responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration, by effectively selling products and related services, through building relationships, with existing and new customers, being specialist doctors in clinics, private rooms & hospitals. The position is responsible for the achievement of annual sales and activity objectives and managing the annual expense budget for the territory. The role will establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to grow market share. You will analyse the territory/market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers and make virtual calls and in-person visits and presentations to meet all sales KPI’s. Your customers will be specialist doctors in private rooms and hospitals and some GP’s (minimal). You will create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities and plan and organise personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time investment for the territory. You will coordinate the sales effort with internal stakeholders being nurse educators, marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups. You will participate in trade shows and conventions. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Bachelor degree in Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Business or related studies, with 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a GP Sales Representative or Hospital/Specialist Sales Representative. Strong sales skills with demonstrated results, with excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Valid driver’s license. Medicines Australia code of conduct certification preferable. Vaccinated against Covid with full Australian working rights. INTERESTED?
