ABOUT THE TEAM The Customer Care team at Growthbuilt oversee projects after completion, maintaining Growthbuilts construction reputation. They are currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to join their team, offering exposure to various stakeholders and project teams. In this role, you will work closely with the Customer Care Manager to handle agreements, warranties, and negotiations with subcontractors. You will also be involved in managing client and company expectations, as well as staying informed about ongoing projects and deadlines. What your responsibilities might look like: Negotiating, selecting, and managing subcontractors Certifying and paying progress claims Approving ongoing payments Scoping and letting packages for defect remediation Compiling commercial and contractual position for subcontractor disputes Reporting on project defect rectification Processing back charges to subcontractors Creating and reporting on procurement schedules Managing customer care drop box ABOUT YOU 3 - 5 years of experience in Contracts Administration or Project Coordination is required for this position. However, having more experience is also welcomed. While having a background in defects is preferred, it is not the only requirement. Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills are essential for this role. Attention to detail and experience in process and document control are necessary. Exceptional problem-solving ability is highly valued. It would be ideal if you have experience with Australian Standards and Building Codes, specifically the Home Building Act and RAB/DBP Act. Although experience with construction software and platforms is a plus, our team is willing to assist you in learning these tools. THE PERKS You will be part of a supportive and well-resourced team.
