What You'll do: As an Advanced Software Engineer, you will perform software engineering tasks to develop product enhancements to Honeywell's market leading solutions for buildings. Tasks include a range of activities across the full software development lifecycle. Focus areas: Agile Development techniques such as Scrum Iterative Development Process Provide responsive design centre customer support for software solutions developed Work with team members to find best practice solutions for software and processes Coaching and helping develop other team members What will you bring to the role: Meet or exceed results as defined by assigned goals including product development goals Productivity of software development tasks Quality of software development tasks Timeliness of software development tasks Compliance to process standards Responsiveness to customer requests Delivering high quality software solutions on time Developing elegant software solutions to technically challenging customer problems Meeting high quality functional and non-functional customer needs or requirements Key Experience & Capabilities: 5 years software engineering experience across analysis, design, coding, testing and support of software Experience delivering high quality web-based solutions, using modern tools and techniques, including .Net web development (C#, .Net, .Net core and/or ASP.Net) ReST based web services JSON, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript WE VALUE Experience with Agile development, TDD, CI/CD, unit and automation testing Advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills Experience creating performant and scalable software designs Understanding of software-based security concepts Experience with SPA frameworks - Knockout/Angular/ReactJS Experience evaluating and implementing commercial and open source libraries Backend development experience Seeking individuals with a passion for software, adept at swiftly mastering new technologies, possessing a solid grasp of fundamental software development concepts, and familiar with both backend and/or frontend development and associated technologies.
