You will be part of a team of software engineers responsible for the development of Honeywell's Building products. These products are exported worldwide through Honeywell's global businesses. What You'll do: As an Advanced Software Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of intermediate level engineering responsibilities. Key Experience & Capabilities: Uses broad knowledge of engineering discipline, processes and tools in order to complete various project subtasks. Performs varied/multiple technical assignments. Works on developments performing all tasks that constitute the software lifecycle. Works mostly under the direction of an experienced Software Engineer. May interact with internal customers and team members in order to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications. Innovating our development processes to ensure that we remain customer aligned Reviewing code from other developers and constructively giving improvement suggestions and advice Being an advocate for high quality solutions that adhere to Honeywell security standards. Qualifications and Experience : 2 years software engineering experience using InstallShield. Essential Experience delivering high quality software solutions, using modern tools and techniques Experience with software installation development tools Highly Valued Dev Ops build/deployment experience Experience in developing software using; InstallShield JavaScript, Visual Basic Script Powershell Visual Studio .Net C#, C++ Beneficial Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, unit and automation testing. Advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills Experience creating performant and scalable software designs Understanding of software-based security concepts Experience with Atlassian tools eg.
