We are now seeking a motivated and focused individual to join our team in a utility driver / factory sorter role as a casual position, whereby the candidate will perform driving duties, whilst also working some of the week in our depot. Based out of our Tamworth depot, this newly created role will see you being an integral member of the team reporting to the Branch Manager. With a wide and varied client base our routes vary daily. Our role is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person who can work unsupervised and who is interested in a diverse range of duties. Key responsibilities: • Providing great face to face customer service • Driving in the Tamworth metro and regional surrounding areas • Delivery and collection of Hygiene and Sanitary products • Loading and unloading of your vehicle • Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure your vehicle is maintained, safe and clean • Complete all service paperwork • Remain compliant with all policies and procedures including WHS • Clean and maintain driving equipment and the warehouse facility • Sorting and assisting in production of the confidential material • Use of production machinery • Perform pre-starts on machinery • Remain compliant with all policies and procedures including WHS Key requirements: • MR Driver's License is a requirement • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills • Physically fit with a willingness to do physically demanding role • Ability to use Smart phone technologies • Attention to detail with an ability to follow service instructions • Ability to work independently and also within a close-knit team environment • Excellent analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills • Willing start at varied and sometimes early times • Be aligned with our Values of Safe, Smart, Sustainable and Service What is in it for You? • Competitive Market Rates • $100 allowance per day for overnight runs • Birthday Vouchers and Celebrations • Learning and development opportunities • Great benefits including employee shopping discounts • Employee reward and recognition program • Company Uniform • Employee Assistance Program • On-Site Parking Shortlisted applicants will be required to: • Undergo a Federal Police clearance check • Obtain a Working with Children Certificate • Be eligible to legally live and work in Australia • Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment relative to their position • Appropriate immunisation requirements, including COVID 19 vaccinations.
