The Project ACCIONA has been selected to deliver Western Harbour Tunnel - Stage 2, Sydney's third harbour crossing. The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney. Project scope includes: Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each direction Civil, Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnel Surface level work, including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah Freeway In line with the above, ACCIONA is now looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join the Western Harbour Tunnel Project. As part of the M&E team, you will be responsible for procuring M&E Packages and establishing and negotiating contracts while acting as an intermediary between the subcontractors and ACCIONA by resolving possible conflicts. Specific Tasks Include Administer and supervise contract administration and compliance (Downstream). Develop and prepare regular reports on the status of contracts. Draft, prepare, and execute internal and external correspondence on contractual matters as required Assist in resolving contract payment disputes and confer with contractors and other business units concerning contract payments and compliance Perform and/ or review contract payment and audits. Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents Required Skills and Competencies Qualifications and Experience Demonstrated experience in a similar role M&E experience would be highly advantageous Experience in major construction project contract management Demonstrated ability to analyse contractual/legal issues and provide solutions through appropriate problem-solving techniques Ability to work well with others and demonstrate leadership skills Prior experience managing and mentoring team members ACCIONA has been awarded Top Employer 2023 Certification in Australia from the Top Employers Institute.
