Reporting to the IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager the roles will be predominantly responsible for timely and effective design, installation, configuration, operation, security and maintenance of all hardware and software systems utilized by ASC. The roles will play a pivotal role in minimising the occurrence and severity of outages and problems also providing effective resolutions in a timely manner. Both roles are based from our head office in Osborne, SA. 1 x Permanent full time position 1 x 12 Month FTC Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain Windows/ Linux servers and VM Ware infrastructure to ensure security, performance and capacity management. Perform technical duties necessary to maintain applications, problem solve issues and escalate identified problems/risks as appropriate. Assist in the design of technical solutions for new or continuous improvement activities relating to the ASC Server implementations. Maintain ASC systems availability and security targets in line with the ASC business expectations and the IT KPI’s.Assist with the development of strategies for maintaining the server environments and infrastructure to ensure alignment with ASC business requirements. Utilise the ASC service desk call management system in accordance with the IT change process, Incident and Service requests. Manage user access to the corporate server and network services. Perform backup administration duties to ensure the integrity of ASC data including disaster recovery exercises. Contribute to team meetings, identify improvement opportunities, sponsor and continuously drive for change. About you Experience in Level 3 IT desktop and applications support role. Proficient in Microsoft Windows / Red Hat Linux server administration. Adept at lateral thinking and problem-solving within a team environment. Exhibits excellent communication skills and can manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Exposure to or knowledge of Cloud Based Systems and methodologies such as MS Azure. Demonstrable ability to identify, analyse and solve problems on your own, or as part of a cross functional team. Ability to work in a structured and regulated IT environment. Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
