Siemens?Overhead Medium Voltage Systems business segment seeks a Business Development Manager/Sales Professional with international business experience for the product portfolio manufactured at our Global Centre of Competence and Factory at Yatala, Queensland. A key member of the team, the Sales Professional will drive strategic activities in the region of responsibility (Region) of the OMVS portfolio to ensure business growth and expansion of market share. Regions include Central/South America, Middle East & Africa, Europe and South East Asia. As an International Business Development Manager/Sales Professional you will be responsible for: - Promoting and driving growth of the OMVS portfolio internationally in the assigned region - Investigating and evaluating specific business opportunities for the OMVS product and service portfolio - Assessing the potential of target customers in the Region and working with channel partners to develop strategies to realise these - Analysing and evaluating markets (both technology and product) and needs of potential or existing customers and communicating this to the product management and R&D - Providing technical sales support to the channel partners - Making detailed technical sales presentations - Monitoring and analysing competitor activity and communicating this to the business - Participating in order intake, revenue and quantity target setting - Establishing and nurturing contacts in the Region to build and maintain a customer focused network - Preparing and negotiating projects and proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and management - Driving and supporting local activities The ideal candidate will be: - A self-starter - Experienced in international business development - Have 5-10 years experience in the Medium Voltage Switchgear industry - Have familiarity with Overhead Medium Voltage Switchgear - Able to work in cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment - Prepared to travel internationally for up to 30% of the year - Proficiency in multiple languages would be an advantage but not essential Working at Siemens is exciting Not only because of the impact you can make, but also because of the benefits we offer to make your work and life more enjoyable.?We highly value and encourage personal growth through experience and training.
