As our Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that You’ll be Safely loading your truck with cages for delivery Completing your own daily vehicle safety check Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-upsGetting a fortnightly rotating roster, Sunday - Friday, with start times varying from 5:45AM to 10:00PMEarning up to $33.48 per hour for day shift, $37.85 per hour for night shift 12% superSigning up for a 6-month fixed term contract, with the possibility for extension (not guaranteed)About you You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and love autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community. You’ll also need to Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Hold a Heavy Combination or higher class vehicle license. Forklift license would be advantageousBe safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
