Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager ANZ, this critical role will be responsible for driving the sales strategy and portfolio growth within a large state team. About the role: You will be responsible for influencing and growing relationships with Industrial Contractors, System Integrators (SI), End Users, and other OEM’s. This challenging and rewarding role will see you be part of their strategic National Team who focus on developing and generating business revenue streams across ANZ. An integral part of this role is client management, as this person will be responsible contributing to the national performance and developing the individual team capabilities. Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies, with the emphasis on products and solution selling. Influence, mentor and coach within the sales team, improving overall performance while promoting a high-performance culture. Support and promote a positive team environment and behaviours in line with company core values. Build deep strategic relationships at multiple levels within the large client portfolios. Identify new areas to maximize profits. To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate: MUST have a degree qualification in engineering with accreditation through Engineers Australia. A high degree of commercial acumen. (i.e. excellent communication skills, businesses development, contract negotiation, and marketing skills) A proven ability to drive performance and growth in a technical solution-based sales environment. 5 years in similar position selling Automation to industries - FMCG, Pharma, Food or Industrial. Previous experience in the pneumatics, electrical, automation, process control and / or electronics industries … would be a considerable advantage.
