Your new company YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH ANIMALS Operating from Tullamarine, this organisation is currently seeking an Administrator to join their Team in a full-time (5 days p/w) capacity. Commitment must be made to working on Saturdays, and 4 days throughout Monday to Friday. You will have the flexibility to work any 4 days through the standard working week, however you must be available to work on Saturdays. This organisation is the statutory authority responsible for regulating, conducting and promoting racing in Victoria, a sport that annually generates around $400 million in economic activity and over $3 billion in wagering and directly involves over 15,000 people. Your new role The Administrator's primary role is to provide administrative support to the team during peak workload periods and assist with preparation and delivery. In addition to administrative work, the Administrator's responsibilities include taking charge of scheduling meetings, taking minutes, maintaining relevant databases and systems, producing reports and presentations. You will also be required to: Update practice management system with each day's new intake of animals and schedule full health checks Monitor and schedule vaccinations Update and maintain veterinary records, including transcribing clinic notes Collate, scan and file mandatory medical forms and certificates Update boards with care status and enrichment program participation, whether toys are permitted etc. Provide clinic administrative support when Manager is absent. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in obtaining this opportunity, you will have a willingness to learn, a proven work ethic and experience as an Administrator. You will also need: Knowledge and Experience: 3 years administration experience including using management systems Demonstrated customer service skills and experience. Confidence in handling dogs in a safe and humane manner Practical experience in an animal shelter or equivalent (desirable).
