Great opportunity for HC/MC Drivers with road ranger gearbox experience (2 years minimum) to join a family-operated transport logistics company that values its team with an immediate start in Mackay, QLD Monday to Friday - varied start times and weekend work on offer. (10-12hrs shift) Responsibilities: Following the run sheet schedule from Mackay to Giru for delivery within the required time frame. Pick up and deliver fresh produce, local palettised freight in a timely and safe manner. Loading and unloading correct materials as per Delivery Docket. Managing routes efficiently. Some manual loading/ unloading may be required. Inspecting vehicles, and reporting problems and incidents to management. Complying with OH&S regulations, as well as company rules. Requirements: Hold a valid Heavy Combination or Multi Combination truck license. Prior experience in the industry is highly regarded. Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Understand all aspects of OH&S compliance and manual handling. Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager. Interpersonal skills - must be able to get along with other workers and be pleasant to customers. Must have an Assessing Fitness to Drive Medical certificate or be willing to obtain one.
