Reporting to a Customer Operations Leader, you’ll be delivering end to end customer service, supporting our new build construction customers over the phone or via email, engaging with industry stakeholders, and identifying process improvements. Taking full responsibility for all issues that you come across, you’ll provide efficient and effective front office support including facilitating service order initiation, change and status updates. While supporting our builders, you will also represent Origin when liaising with distributors, meter providers and external service providers. Why this role matters: We’re at the forefront and the main point of contact for all our builders and it will be your core responsibility to go to the ends of the earth to keep our builders impressed and excited about Origin Energy being their energy supplier. We not only look to service our existing builders with world class customer experience, we also want to look to grow and expand that New Connections portfolio through bringing in new builders or extending partnerships with our current builders. Whether that be through ideas/initiatives or speaking to people via email or phone, the growing of our business through sales will be a key component of Builder Operations and the driving of that will come from our Builders Energy Specialists Our Builders Energy Specialists hugely shapes the builder journey. We are looking for people who will actively look for ways in which we can improve the builder/customer experience and not be afraid to speak up. What will you bring? Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to talk to customers across multiple platforms including email, social and other platforms. Demonstrated ability to use sound commercial judgement to improve customer experiences, taking into consideration risk and regulatory frameworks and acting within delegation of authority. Ability to interpret information and data to understand customer queries and solve problems Able to identify opportunities for business improvement and initiate change requests through working group functions to improve business processes. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies. A strong work ethic - A role in Retail is very fast paced and can be challenging at times.
