Find a career that matters and lasts The purpose of the Contract Administrator is to support the Manager Commercial and Senior Contract Administrators in the assessment and preparation of accurate and timely responses to contractors' contractual claims for variations, delays extensions of time etc. Here’s how: You will update and maintain the commercial register. Working alongside project delivery teams, you will administer executed contracts and provide report updates. Maintain a solid understanding of each project in relation to scope, cost, delivery team, scheduling, and other relevant information Ensure that all contract administration works are carried out in accordance with Powerlink’s standards, policies and practices. The community you will join Based in Virginia, you will join a high performing team to help develop clever commercial solutions to interesting contractual problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know. Your expertise Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in a quantity surveying, commercial, engineering, construction or a project support discipline. Strong attention to detail and confident in your abilities to multi-task, plan and organize. Thrive in a task-driven, fast-paced environment. Logical, detailed and analytical in your working approach. We’d also love you to have: Understanding of applications in high voltage power systems. Experience in applying relevant legislative requirements (Electricity Act, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Environmental Protection Act, etc.) in construction management. Knowledge and experience in the use of tools/applications (SAP, Microsoft Project, Project Server etc.).
