THE OPPORTUNITY Salary: $82.01 - $88.60 p/h 11% superLocation: Chadstone campus.WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.Position Status: CasualThe Department of Business and Finance Studies provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively teach theoretical and practical sessions to students.The role involves delivering units within the Cert VI in Accounting & Bookkeeping and Diploma in Accounting curriculum, focusing on Tax, Budgeting, Business Activity Statement (BAS), and Payroll. Responsibilities include creating course content, conducting teaching and assessments predominantly, and handling daily administrative tasks related to teaching.ABOUT YOUCurrent industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered, with a particular emphasis on current technology and industry practice.Demonstrated experience in innovative course design and development in the context of flexible learning environments.Strong capability in adapting teaching methods to suit diverse student demographics within large group settings, ensuring effective communication and engagement.Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with team members, promoting a supportive and inclusive work culture.High level of oral and written communication skills; passion for international education and what it has to offer.An approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) including units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502.Vocational competency and currency.
