They are currently seeking a Arts and Design Technology Teacher to inspire and guide their students in realising their artistic potential. This is a contracted role starting in Term 2 to End of School Year (13 December 2024) 0.6 to 1.0 FTE (Flexible) with the possibility of an ongoing offer past 2024. Responsibilities: Teach subjects including Visual Arts, Design Technology, and Digital Media, fostering exploration and skill development. Provide hands-on instruction and mentorship to students, guiding them in their artistic and technical endeavours. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and experimentation within the creative process. Develop engaging and innovative curriculum aligned with Australian Curriculum standards. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate arts and technology across the curriculum, enriching interdisciplinary learning experiences. Cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to express themselves creatively. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education, Fine Arts, Design, or related field. Relevant teaching experience in Creative Arts and Design Technology, preferably in a secondary school setting. Strong knowledge of contemporary art practices, design principles, and digital technologies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Current Working with Children Check and registration with the SA Teachers Registration Board.
