THE ROLE: Newly created System Administrator position working in a small team, responsible for patching virtual and physical infrastructure deployed across the enterprise computing environment along with establishing and overseeing backup and recovery tasks, implementing operational and technical security controls, and adhering to organizational security policies and procedures. Duties include: Assess vulnerability & patch information from compliance scans for networking devices, Servers, Microsoft Windows operating systems, and Linux. Utilise tools to automate patch deployment, such as Symantec Altiris, Microsoft Intune, and Autopilot Manage user accounts and permissions in accordance with company privacy, security, and compliance standards. Administration of Office 365 services: Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune/MDM Work with the wider IT team to ensure business objectives are achieved Assist in project delivery. REQUIRED EXPEREINCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Suitable for a System Administrator with a background working with modern workplace tools and patch deployment. Ideal for a collaborative team player who is curious and demonstrates a willingness capability to learn. This is a full-time permanent role located in Sydney CBD and is offering $110,000-120,000 (plus super) - depending on experience. Hybrid working available.
