At ACM we are seeking delivery drivers to join our Hemmant DC. We are in the midst of launching a new initiative internally and are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, family-oriented and most importantly customer focused drivers. No industry specific experience required, just a willingness to learn and focus on the customers needs and communicate well Daily tasks: Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of goods. Always drive to our business Safety Standards and ensure that safety is a daily focus. Safely and efficiently perform deliveries to our customers. Accurately complete and collect all customer returns. Accurately complete and collect all required documentation, including the updating of a mobile handheld device. Provide excellent customer service and represent ACM Parts in a professional manner. Manage route optimization and delivery consolidation via all available tools. Ensure products are transported in accordance with requirements (e.g.: Chain of Responsibility, Dangerous Goods, etc.) and to reduce damage. Other tasks as reasonably directed by the Transport Manager. There are a few attributes we'd love to see in you: Current, valid and relevant licence/s. Familiarity operating mobile handheld device. Responsible manual handling experience Load restraint experience required. LF Forklift licence highly regarded. Pallet Jack experience. Strong customer service and communication skills (essential) Able to work both in a team environment and independently. Able to professionally represent the organization.
