For more information, visit: https://www.kencor.com.au The role: Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be expected to manage both our existing customers and develop new business opportunities and grow the territory. You will identify trends and customer needs, build a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline by operational targets, develop strategies for new business and assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies that achieve strategic goals. This is a full-time permanent role based in Doveton, VIC. Work hours are Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, no Saturdays. Reporting to the Business Manager, responsibilities include: Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities across the fastener and industrial supply market; coordinating business generation activities; developing customised targeted sales strategies. Building business relationships with current and potential customers involving creating and maintaining a database of prospective clients and their information. Understanding customer needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential customer questions and follow-up enquiries. Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential customers; closing sales and working with the customer through the closing process. Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals. Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software. Collaborating with Business Manager on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans. Assist across Counter Sales as required, and any other duties as required within your skill level and qualifications. About You: To be successful, you will be a confident worker with an aptitude for maximizing sales performance, profitability, and growth in a dynamic and competitive environment. To be successful in this role: Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately) Have an engaging, energetic, proactive approach, a real passion for selling, and exceptional customer service. You will have a track record of success in a similar role, meeting monthly and yearly sales targets. Have an in-depth knowledge of the fastener and industrial supply market across Victoria, and a loyal customer base following. You will be ambitious, wanting to grow and develop within the industrial / construction supplies industry and progress to running your own branch as a Business Manager in but a matter of years. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers. Possesses a professional, energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor with the ability to be persuasive and meet goals. Ability to work autonomously as well as an effective team member. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM experience.
