You will be a mid level System Engineer with proven experience delivering projects in the Microsoft Cloud space Location: Southern Suburbs of Brisbane Cadence Connect have partnered exclusively with an award winning managed service provider, seeking a talented Windows System Engineer with hands-on experience in the Microsoft cloud space, including Azure, Office 365, Intune, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows systems engineering and a proven track record of successfully managing and implementing projects within a Microsoft cloud environment. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain Windows-based systems, including servers, workstations, and related infrastructure components. Implement and manage Azure services, including virtual machines, Azure Active Directory, and networking. Configure and administer Office 365 services, particularly Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams. Deploy and manage Intune for device management and endpoint security. Lead and participate in projects related to the Microsoft cloud space, including migrations, upgrades, and new implementations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Windows systems with cloud-based services and existing infrastructure components. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and uptime. Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place. Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet business requirements. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Windows systems, Azure, Office 365, and other relevant technologies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Windows System Engineer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019). Hands-on experience with Azure services, including virtual machines, Azure Active Directory, and networking. Experience configuring and administering Office 365 services, particularly Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams. Familiarity with Intune for device management and endpoint security. Project management experience, with a focus on managing projects within the Microsoft cloud space. Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware). Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, Azure certifications) are a plus.
